Artist's Comments

My version of the classic red riding hood tale, only little red is portrayed as a sexy gothic stripper type skipping along with her horrifying big bad were wolf pet that is very possessive of the little lass, the wolf is over 22 inches tall and red is 13 inches tall, unfortunately it's still unpainted and I haven't finished her wicker bascket of body parts and the chain leash she is walking the wolf with.

I also planned on making her a red cloth hood and mesh mini skirt in the final statue.

Little red and the bigbad wolf by ~DarkAsylumxxx is a very interesting adaptation from the classical versions of Little red riding hood and the wolf as they both seem equally as dark, not to mention on the same side rather than at opposites. Thanks, I will share if I finish it, it's been about 2 years since I've work on it, furing the wolf took so long I lost interest in the piece.

But I do wanna complete it.
:icondarkasylumxxx:
Thank you, I'm starting to think I should finish it considering how people seem to like the piece.
:iconsewobession:
yes you should it will look more amazing
:iconjamiedmac:
I would love to see this finished - it's incredible! Red is absolutely gorgeous and the wolf is mighty impressive. The anatomy and head sculpts are superbly done. Also really like the poses and movement in each of the characters. It would be terrific to see how they look completed and posed together.

I can more than understand the tedium involved though. I've got stuff lying around from 4 years ago that I lost complete interest in and can't muster the motivation to get them finished. This though would definitely be worthwhile. What clay did you use for these?
:icondarkasylumxxx:
Thanks, I don't use clay at all for any small scale sculptures I use AVES Epoxy sculpt it's a 2 part self hardening material I sculpt most everything out of it very good shit and you can build it in layers and very easy to sand and saw into parts for kits.
Beats the hell out of sculpey IMO I haven't touch that stuff in about 10 years since I got Epoxy sculpt.
and if you need to cut back on matieral you can sculpt over wood styro foam tinfoil this stuff can stick to anything.
Came across this stuff in 1999 at the imagination expo felt like a god send.

do you have the painted version of this yet? i really do love the concept ;)
